Lavender oil, Cert. Organic, USA - This is one of the best lavenders you will ever encounter.  Awesome from both an odor and therapeutic standpoint.  The higher the price, the better the quality of the lavender oil, even though all of the lavender oils we sell are therapeutic-grade.  Be aware there are many grades (qualities) of lavender essential oils on the market.

Lavender is antispetic, analgesic, antitumoral, anticonvulsant, antiinflammatory, and a sedative.  Lavender is beneficial for healing burns and cleansing cuts and wounds.  it is ideal for skin care, since it prevents the build up of excess sebum, a skin oil that bacteria feed on.  Lavender has also been clinically evaluated for its relaxing effects.

Lavender essential oil is indicated for:  burns (cell renewal), sunburns (including lips), dandruff, hair loss, convulsions, herpes, headaches, indigestion, insomnia, high blood pressure, menopausal conditions, nausea, phlebitis, tumors, premenstrual conditions, scarring (minimizes), skin conditions (acne, dermatits, eczema, psoriasis, and rashes) and stretch marks.  It may be used to cleanse cuts, bruises, and skin irritation.
