Thyme Essential Oil
This variety of Thyme oil has a high thymol content. “Red” Thyme oil has an herbal, spicy, earthy aroma. It’s important to note that, due to the high thymol content, this material may crystalize. We recommend using a hot water bath to allow the oil to return to its liquid state.

An oil used since ancient times, Thyme (ct. thymol) is anti-aging, highly antimicrobial, antifungal, antiviral, a uterine tonic, cardiotonic and antiparasitic. This is the Thyme essential oil that is equivalent to Young Living®'s Thyme essential oil. This is also known as German Thyme Oil.
Use for infectious diseases, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease and hepatitis. Thyme is also indicated for asthma, bronchitis, colitis, cystitis, dermatitis, anthrax, general fatigue, pleurisy, psoriasis, sciatica, tuberculosis, and vaginal candida. This oil is a general tonic for the nerves and stomach, and may also help with bacterial infections, respiratory infections, circulation, depression, digestion, headaches, insomnia, rheumatism, urinary infections and viruses along the spine.
The fragrance may be beneficial in helping to overcome fatigue and exhaustion after illness. Dilute 1:4 with carrier oil and apply on location, to vitaflex points on feet and ankles, or diffuse. Many studies have been done on this oil, and it has proven to be highly beneficial in the areas mentioned. If pregnant or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician.
